Missionary Care

Hello all. I have a story I’d like to share with you today. We were contacted by some people in America on Saturday. They were worried because they couldn’t find their family member who is a missionary in Cambodia. This missionary has been doing agricultural missions in Cambodia for 4 years. While in the fields, she contracted dengue fever, a very painful illness passed by mosquitoes. She was brought to Bangkok by some friends and admitted into the hospital. That was the last anyone from America had heard from her. So, we got to work to locate her. By Monday morning, we found what hospital she had been but she was discharged on Sunday. Today, we found where she is staying and left her a message. After talking to her this afternoon, we pasted the good news on to her family in America. We both felt compelled to help in this situation not just because it is the right thing to do, but because we realize how it feels to be away from family and in need. We also feel for the family across the ocean in times of uncertainty. Praise God for His infinite wisdom in creating a body that cares for its parts.

You were a blessing to this momma when her "babies" were in Bangkok as the riots began. Yes, God was so good to us when He created His family.
