Appreciating the Small Things

Today, we spent most of the day looking for the kid’s school supplies. During the search we found something very unexpected! We found Dr. Pepper which is the first time we have ever found it here. To say the least we were very excited because the Miller family’s favorite soda drink is Dr. Pepper. Living in Thailand over the last five years has really helped us appreciate the small things which have given us a new realization of God’s blessings. I know that everybody knows this song, “Count Your Blessings” but it really has a deep meaning because it continual reminds us how much God loves and cares for his children. I truly believe that one of Satan attacks against us to make us think that God does not care about the small things in our lives but Psalms paints a completely different picture. So the next time you get even the smallest blessing remember that it is from God!
